Cookie Policy
How we use cookies and similar technologies, and how you can manage your preferences at any time.
Last updated: July 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on your device to make it work, to remember your choices or to collect browsing statistics. This site uses cookies in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and the guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante) on cookies.
2. The cookie categories we use
On your first visit we show you a banner with three equally prominent choices: Accept all, Reject and Customize. Until you make a choice, only necessary technical cookies are installed; statistics cookies and third-party content stay disabled. No non-essential cookie is set without your consent, and we do not use pre-ticked boxes.
2.1 Necessary technical cookies (no consent required)
They are needed for the site to work and for security. They cannot be disabled.
- gs_consent — stores your cookie consent choices. Technology: browser localStorage. Duration: up to 6 months or until withdrawn.
- Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., United States) — protects the contact form from automated spam without tracking the user for advertising; it may set a technical security cookie. Any transfers to the US take place under the Standard Contractual Clauses. Duration: session.
2.2 Statistics cookies (only with your consent)
Enabled only if you consent to the "Statistics" category. They measure site usage in aggregate, anonymized form.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) — cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>. We use IP address anonymization. Cookie duration: up to 13 months (data retention in Google Analytics is configured at 14 months). Data may be transferred to the United States on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses. Google notice.
2.3 Third-party content (only with your consent)
Enabled only if you consent to the "External content" category.
- Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd.) — the map on the Contact page loads only after your consent. Until then it stays disabled and Google receives no data. Once enabled, Google Maps may set its own cookies and transfer data to the United States under the Standard Contractual Clauses.
3. How to manage or withdraw consent
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time, as easily as you gave them, by reopening the preferences panel from the button below or from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. After 6 months the banner will be shown again. Alternatively, you can delete cookies from your browser settings.
